Beginning Experience International Ministry, Inc. provides additional programs for adults and children beyond the current retreat offerings in Connecticut. The Family Life Office of the Archdiocese of Hartford has among its purposes a call to work in collaboration with all church agencies and ministries and particularly with parishes to develop and promote awareness among clergy and laity of opportunities for lay involvement in ministry, especially "like to like" peer ministry in family related areas.
We encourage you to receive and offer support as a member of your local parish or church separated, divorced and bereavement ministry. Contact your pastor to see if a group exists in your parish. The Washington Congregational Church, Washington, CT sponsors New Beginnings of the Northwest Corner; contact Layne Allison at 860-283-4465. An ongoing group is established at First Church of Christ, Wethersfield, CT, contact Betty at 860-529-1575. Annulment:
Church law calls for the existence of a tribunal in every diocese of
the world. The Tribunal is a staff of specially trained and
experienced priests, religious and lay persons who offer assistance
to parties who have reason to doubt the validity of their marriage. Contact the Tribunal at:

workshop called, The ABC's of Annulments, to facilitate the process.
